What does SousVide mean?  SousVide simply means "Cooking in Hot Water" or another slang term "boil in bag" a process of slow cooking vacuum packed food for tenderness and infusion of flavor in a below boiling water for extended times.  The reason a SousVide boil-able quality bag is so important, a high poly bag will deteriorate in long term boil or almost boil temperatures. These Sous Vide quality bags are our premium bag material low poly higher nylon.  Not only are they superior for regular vacuum packing of all products including freezing and long term storage, but they can with-stand the hot water bath aspect of SousVide Cooking for extended cooking times.
